Jam session (future setlist)

For the three of you who shared the studio thursday night, please take some time adding your suggestions into this list. I'll let you know whether I can sing them or not.

Here go some things (I know) I can sing:

#1
- Stone Temple Pilots, "Plush"
- Bryan Adams, "The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me"
- Lenny Kravitz, "Always On The Run"
- Franz Ferdinand, "Walk Away"
- Audioslave, "Like A Stone"
- Pearl Jam, "Black"
- Jack Johnson, "Good People"
- Cream, "Sunshine of Your Love"
- Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Californication"
- Van Halen, "Finish What 'Ya Started"

#2
- Jeff Healey, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
- Doobie Brothers, "Long Train Running"
- Violent Femmes, "Blister In The Sun"
- The Cult, "Lil' Devil"
- Pearl Jam, "Even Flow"
- Van Halen, "Humans Being"
- Velvet Revolver, "Falling To Pieces"
- Jimi Hendrix, "Hey Joe"
- Live, "I Alone"
- The Beatles, "Get Back"
- James, "Sit Down"

I originally had this idea a couple of months ago and came up with two possible setlists on September 12th and September 13th. I think this could work for me.

There are no recent songs on this setlist as this is intended to be a jam session and not a band rehersal.

Jam session (slight return)

Minutes after the mixing board was dead, even smoking, we started playing some of our oldies, songs we know and we can jam on.

I had the signing duties and without a mic or any amplification device, I really had to come close to screaming to make myself heard. It was strange, but worked out.

It was a slight return to the old days.
We played:
- Stone Temple Pilots, "Plush"
- Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Californication"
- Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Under The Bridge"
- blues jam in D
- Pixies, "Here Comes Your Man"
- Lenny Kravitz, "Are You Gonna Go My Way"

I think there were more, but I was too sleepy after the whole thing, so I can't quite recall.

We even tried Van Halen's "Humans Being". So strange, Mike doesn't know Pearl Jam's "Black". I could sing that one too.

It's burning...

We're going to jam later today.
But right now, we're in the kitchen as someone's just arrived without having dinner. He's having soup.

All of a sudden, on the studio, the sound of a thumping beat. We run and discover the mixing board is burning... not in flames, but definately smoking. The stereo channels controls are hot and the smoke comes from the inside.

All that we could use was more expenses.
Let's see what happens during the jam.

The first facelift

I'm in the process of joining some ASP and HTML code for the first upgrade of our company's website.

The site was initially built some 4~5 years ago and no updates were made, other that editing the address and contacts. It did look horrible.

The new one is the first facelift.
We'll be working on a real upgrade starting now.

The use of the brain

In sport, so many times the use of the brain is underrated. Today, my FutSal team did perform perfectly in this matter.

Having only 5 players to play the whole game, we controlled the rhythm and pace of the match and let things flow... and the final outcome was what we expected... 3-1 on our favour. Hard-worked, but fair and safe.

I can't wait to be on the field.
It won't be next week either.
