A month from today

A month from today, there will be a party going on.
Today, I have a friend who's having a party too. And we haven't been in contact.

Maybe I'll change that, one of these days.

Learning To Fly

Today, I rediscovered some great Pink Floyd songs.

"Into the distance, a ribbon of black
Stretched to the point of no turning back
A flight of fancy on a windswept field
Standing alone my senses reeled
A fatal attraction holding me fast, how
Can I escape this irresistible grasp?

Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I

Ice is forming on the tips of my wings
Unheeded warnings, I thought I thought of everything
No navigator to guide my way home
Unladened, empty and turned to stone

A soul in tension thats learning to fly
Condition grounded but determined to try
Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I
"

Gemini

Although this is the month of the Gemini (I, for one, am one of the persons that least cares about astrology), I won't elaborate on it.

Gemini is also a constelation.
Gemini stands for "twins".

A few days ago, I met one of the twin sisters that were in our beach bunch of friends... we'd arrive there at 2pm and stay until 8pm... almost the whole bunch, 15~20 kids. And it did feel good to see that some of them became friends. Absent friends, one can add, but that is definately better than having someone you know for ages being around, without ever becoming our friend.

And this happens.
It happens a lot.

Time to re-think

It's always time to re-think.

What is one's position in life ?!
Observer ?... Not me. Even if I'm quiet, it never means that I'm only watching life from the outside. I'm just waiting for my moment. Patiently.

Unresting thoughts

This one has been waiting for almost five years (from May 2006 to February 2011). It's been in the back of my mind since I re-read it last week.

Sometimes, our mind dwells and enters places it was not supposed to. We're misguided in a world we seldom explore and often forget about...

It is time to bring closure to it.
It is time to add some music to the words.

"A world colapses,
Possibilities,
Unfold.

Only synapses,
In due time,
Decoded.

Fictional (or real) domains,
Worlds left unexplained.

All the energy,
Youthness,
Misguided.

Once pride felt,
Self will,
Set aside.

Unresting thoughts remain,
Unwanted feelings I refrain.
