Old church echo

We have just sung in a 15th Century church and the sound there was awesome; the way how the sound echoed was remarkable.

The choir is now starting to sing a repertoire which has more to do with Christmas and having a space where the sound is naturally evenly distributed is really something.

The 13th scent

Just watched "The Perfume: the story of a murderer".

If the ingredients are all, this film is displays a valid argument, especially if you consider how secret must some ingredients be. If the secret lays in the mixture, this film also points out some valid... err... points.

All in all, an excellent motion picture.
Can't wait for the DVD.

Do... did... done!

This project is "do, did, done" !!!
It once was a communicator, but now it is a net.

Must embrace new ones.

Getting things done

I'm getting things done.

Incidently, this is a title of a book and philosophy by a certain David Allen, this being a "groundbreaking work-life management system".

Live (theoretical setlist)

I'm beginning to give concrete thought to the idea of coming up with a new band. I want it to be more grown up and having a male vocalist. The latest jams sessions have helped...

Theoretically speaking, there would be a 40~50 songs catalog from where the band would extract 20~25 songs each concert; for the encore, 3~4 songs or so. There would also be vacant spaces for hits, keeping the setlist up-to-date.

It would be something like this:

Setlist (part #1):
- Metallica, "Until It Sleeps"
- Robbie Williams, "Let Me Entertain You"
- (hit)
- (hit)
- Franz Ferdinand, "Walk Away"
- EMF, "Unbelievable"
- (hit)
- (hit)
- Dave Matthews Band, "The Space Between"
- Audioslave, "Like A Stone"
- Pearl Jam, "Dissident"
- Soundgarden, "Spoonman"
- Stone Temple Pilots, "Plush"
- Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Californication"
- Bruce Springsteen, "Because The Night"
- Violent Femmes, "Blister In The Sun"
- James, "Sit Down"

Setlist (part #2):
- Bryan Adams, "The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me"
- Jamiroquai, "Cosmic Girl"
- Doobie Brothers, "Long Train Running"
- The Cult, "Lil' Devil"
- Van Halen, "Humans Being"
- Megadeth, "Trust"
- Metallica, "Enter Sandman"
- Skunk Anansie, "Charlie Big Potato"
- Jeff Healey, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
- U2, "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"
- Dada, "Disneyland"
- Live, "I Alone"
- The Beatles, "Get Back"
- The Doors, "Roadhouse Blues"
- Cream, "Sunshine of Your Love"
- The Clash, "I Fought The Law"
- Steven Tyler & Santana, "Just Feels Better"
- (hit)
- (hit)
- Van Halen, "Finish What 'Ya Started"
- Velvet Revolver, "Falling To Pieces"
- Incubus, "Nice To Know You"
- Neil Young, "Rocking In A Free World"

Encore:
- Van Halen, "Baluchiterium"
- Jack Johnson, "Good People"
- Lenny Kravitz, "Always On The Run"
- The Police, "Dedododo Dedadada"
- Jimi Hendrix, "Hey Joe"
- Pearl Jam, "Black"
- Eric Idle (Monty Python), "Bright Side Of Life"

I'm still not sure I can sing all of these songs, but I do know that I'd love to work on them.

Large water drop

On our way to work, there's a street where we drive under an underpass and always have a large drop of water falling in the front glass... it must have over 5cl, I guess.

It's funny I always try to guess where it will hit the car. The glass, the roof top, the front.

But I'm certain I'll see/hear the large water drop falling.

Full sunday

This sunday had everything.

Sport, religion, rest, music, garaging and work.
I had to go to work at 6pm as we (the company I work for) were present in an exibition. But the day had already been big. Extremely rich, too.
