Late night

I started this one sometime ago.
Creativity sparks when the mind doesn't have too much to dwell on... it focus on its own needs.

The fact is that being on holidays (it's June already... months after the initial words), my mind is freed from the quotidiane life and "is allowed to dwell irresponsably". I like it.

And the deeper one gets into the night, the more free the mind gets. A lapse in time can/will last...

"Defenses down, long passed midnight
One knows not all is real, late in the night

Hours have passed and the eyes don't flicker
A (late) drunken night cannot decide to become morning
There's a will which won't wither
There's a way, still yearning
A need.
A creed.

But it is late night, the limbs are semi-active
It is a drunken night seemingly not ending
Far from lifeless, introspective
Embarrassed, for being...
In need.
In need.

It's a daily end in sight
A less observed twilight

And change occurs, in apparent fear
A lighter blue invades a portion of the sky
Colours will flourish in this hemisphere
Little we know, less we know why
Conceed.
Proceed.

A dawn will follow even the longest night...
