One way street

Learning is a one way street.
Teaching is not a one way street.

If one wants to teach (even if not being a real teacher), one must aknowledge the two-way street there is in the process.

Learning doesn't carry resposabilities.
Teaching, on the other hand, does.

The voice of Autumn

The Autumn has arrived...

There is a distinctive sound proving just so. The sound is similiar to something in a frying pan, but it's been a while since I heard it... oh, it's rain !... And it's pouring outside.

I dare to leave the house. There will be a lot of car accidents on the road today. Need to be extra careful...

Working the voice

I'm working my voice.
I'm working on my voice.

I have just arrived from my first ever choir rehersal as I've joined a local choir to learn/enhance my vocal abilities. It was easy, as expected, but I'm sure there will be a lot to learn regarding so many aspects. The first studies were on one of the best portuguese maestros, Fernando Lopes Graça.

I still don't like my voice.
I hope to learn how to minimise that.

Good news is good news

It is good news.
The wallet is there.

I'm picking it up personally in Barcelona as I'll be there (again) on vacations coming October. So, another reason to say that "good news is good news".

Good news and bad news...

My friend "Onda" just called me on MSN; he's in Barcelona where my wallet was stolen less than 3 weeks ago. I know there won't be any money in the wallet (so those aren't the bad news)...

So the good news is: I'm getting my wallet back.

The bad news is: it's not confirmed yet.

Our (different) mornings...

Our weekend mornings are different.
I can't stay in bed.

I'm just like Tom Sawyer and I'm 10. I just feel I have to get up and seize the day, so go down the stairs and start doing something, whatever it is.

I like this.
