Turn the page...

Peter's gone. His decision.
Although we're five now... he was here for most of the time... the sound of the first chords had him in the picture, along with Luigi and myself.

I know Andre's writting something, not regarding this. I'm going to write something, because it affects the band in regards to its personality. We travelled a (short, yet conscious) path with him and Rita leading the band, facing our new adventures with their decision, or lack of.

Now, for V-I-R-U-S, it's the same.
But for Crtl+Alt+Del, it's somewhat new.

These lyrics is not related to Peter's departure... err... well they are, but not directly. This is a parallel with this event but in a different context. A group of people is together and one leaves... but he's not guilty or being cast aside. The one who's to blame for the mishap stays within the circle, inside the group. It's like turning the page... and becoming worse.

"Hurry, hurry... take your time
Time is yours, not mine.
Hurry, hurry... it's now
You take the time and take a bow
Together, this path we came,
And now, is there no one to blame?
No gain, no loss, no theft...
While you... you just left.

Crazy, crazy... now I'm
Standing alone
Lazy, lazy... can't leave now
Will I stand alone or will I go
The criminal, (now) at large, is here.
Who's to blame? Who's the one to fear?
Is it me? Guilty for staying the same?
Now facing the world... there's change.

Changing... growing... always knowing...
Everything can happen anytime.
Everything can happen in time.

Take your steps and look back
(If you will) someone will be there instead
A different chill rises in my neck
While a million thoughts rush through my head
Can do... without you...
Just wished... it wasn't like this...
Without hunger, pity or rage...
We just turn the page !
"

Take care, my friend.
We'll be following your footsteps.

Again, these words are in no way related to the way Peter left. We all know how Peter wanted to stay in the band, how he was prone to add new songs to our repertoire and how he felt about us playing live... and for that, we will always treasure the moments we spent, the tunes we played, how much we laughed regarding this, that and everything else. Peter is no longer playing and singing with us for personal reasons which don't concern musical or creative differences. He just couldn't stay. And he was 100% honest regarding his position... and although we tried to keep him in the band, we just had to release him, on his request. Without waving goodbye. He'll be around, I'm sure.
