(Seemingly) Nonstop July

Regarding yesterday's subject... another one of my favorites:

"Walking by strangers
Stranger than me
We talk of the future
Between you and me
Sweet little darling
Where will we be
Sweet little darling
Where will we be

It's hard to conceive it
All comes to an end
A joke when it's funny, well...
I laugh and pretend
We're fools to believe it
We're fools to try
To slow down this seemingly nonstop July.

The Weight Of The Wind

Maybe "Scoundrel Days" is better than "Stay On These Roads" or "Hunting High & Low". Sometimes I think it is. And then, maybe "East Of The Sun, West Of The Moon"...

Here's one of my favorites:

"Your face looked new against the town
You've come to lose some memories
Like you I've come to touch new grounds
You want to lose
The weight of the wind
Rests hard on your shoulders
Bringing you down
The one that you love
Will never be found.

You speak into the falling rain
Words you'd lost, but found again
You see their snakey arms entwined
So clear and cruel
In your jealous mind
You've got to lose
The weight of the wind
Hard on your shoulders
Getting you down
The one that you love
Will never be found.

Mouth

"I feel like I've been blown apart
There are pieces here
I don't know where they go
I don't know where they go
Kiss me on my salty lips
I bet you feel a little crazy but for me
We'll be famous on t.v.

Would it be my fault if I could turn you on?
Would I be so bad if I could turn you on?
When I kiss your mouth I want to taste it
Turn you upside down, don't want to waste it

I jump on you, you jump on me
You push me out and even though you know
I love you I'd be inclined to slap you in the mouth
When I kiss your salty lips
You will feel a little crazy, but for me
I'll be famous on t.v.

Would it be my fault if I could turn you on?
Would I be so bad if I could turn you on?
When I kiss your mouth I want to taste it
Turn you upside down, don't want to waste it

Would it be my fault if I could turn you on?
Would I be so bad if I could turn you on?
When I kiss your mouth I want to taste it
Turn you upside down, don't want to waste it

Now, will it be my fault if
I take your love and throw it wide?
You might restrain me,
But could you really blame me?
And you will feel you're blown apart
All the pieces there will fit to make you whole
And I know where they go

2 hours in Brussels

On the way back, we had the oportunity to visit Brussels, and so we did. It was more like a "stop & go" but it was enough for me to buy a few more CDs... and I still couldn't find the song I had heard the most in Holland.

It would take me 8 more years (and a "Google" search) to find it.
More developments tomorrow.

Gemini again

We're travelling to Holland to enter the Pendragon Tournament in Tilburg (I'm in College and play for the football team) and I'm also making new friends. I already had friend in the male basket & handball teams, but this time, only three teams are travelling abroad.

From the female handball team, I don't know a soul.

There are twins playing in that team, the goalie (who seemed crazy and fearless on the field and quite the opposite off the field) and the central. I don't know how and when, but we became instantly friends.

And that has a lot to do with yesterday.
