Leadership = ?!?!?!

Such a personal issue, I'd say.
Would you rather be a leader or a follower ?

What are the qualities one should have to be a leader. Does it have to do with good communication, capacity of learning, what ?!... Here's a quote from someone who did know about leadership. It was natural, for him.

What I could learn from his words/acts was:
"Never surrender leadership to problems."
