Bateria, bateria...

Just arrived from Lisbon where I watched a band playing live. They played ok as they are still starting, but this isn't about that.

The groove from the drum player was enough for a guy spend half of his time at the cafe screaming "Bateria! Bateria!"... it was hilarious.

For those who can't speak portuguese, "bateria" means "drums". The drums and the bass were the grooviest instruments but I think their option of improvising in every tune (making each last almost 10 minutes) somewhat inneficient as it prooved to be cut the dynamic of the performance.

I left early but, when I got home some minutes after 3am, I could still hear the guy screaming.
